Scammers. Hackers and security, OH My!
Boring stuff, but SO VERY IMPORTANT! Security is a major issue on any website, and we aren’t any different. Even though we are a small company, we still have to stay on alert. And we have to assume we are always under attack. We take security seriously.
You should know:
We monitor and delete any suspicious accounts, primarily with uncommon, unheard-of email domains, incomplete profile details, and more. So if you create an account, and you cannot log in, or it says you are blocked, it may have been deleted or locked due to suspicious activity. If you have any trouble logging in. We do not store payment information on our site. We leave that to the 3rd party processing companies. This means we pay for payment processing and peace of mind.
You may occasionally get locked out of your account if you attempt to log in too many times with an incorrect password or the wrong username. This is for everyone’s security, including yours. We know that it can be frustrating, but we have to stay vigilant against scammers, hackers, and phishing schemes.
We don’t share or sell any account information or emails. And our newsletter consists of our current blog posts.
Our emails pass through our secure server. On occasion, emails may appear from a via (a crazy bunch of letters and numbers, or say AmplifyMerch) at secureserver.net. That is us, it is just the secure server name showing and not Amplify Merch. If you have had any recent issues with our emails, it was because someone reported our emails as spam. It took nearly two months to repair that damage, so please, if you do not want to receive our emails, contact us or unsubscribe here. Making our emails appear as spam causes issues for our vendors, clients, and customers.
We only use your email info to contact you about orders and reviews. If you sign up for our newsletter, you will receive those emails when we post new information. Again, you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us or clicking here to unsubscribe.
We do have a dummy site. We use our testing site to try out new features before rolling them out to you, because we are always working to improve our site and features.
If you accidentally happen upon our testing site or get a test email, we apologize, but it is Amplify Merch; it’s just our testing site, and you are in the wrong place.
If you receive any emails or notifications from Amplify Merch and they are suspicious or you have questions/concerns about them, we ask that you forward that information to support@amplifymerch.com and put SPAM in the message title.
